Everything Emergent
Everything Emergent is a science podcast exploring emerging technologies and scientific discoveries.
Drawing design inspiration from the 1950s retrofuturistic aesthetic, Disney's Tomorrowland, and vintage space-age design, I developed two concepts that vary widely in style and approach.
Concept One
The first concept centers on an atomic molecule floating in space with orbital rings wrapping around a planetary nucleus. Bold vintage sci-fi typography anchors the composition while layered elements create visual movement and emergence, making the design appear to reach toward the viewer. The result balances clean conceptual strength with retro-futuristic optimism.
Concept Two
Taking a more illustrative approach, concept two features a rocket launching upward from the bottom of the frame, creating natural vertical movement that guides the eye to the podcast title. The typography directly references authentic 1950s Tomorrowland lettering, leaning into pure retro charm and that golden age of space-age optimism.
